Why do you love me? She asked. I am lost for words. It’s something that deserves a answer. I can only say this. She completes me. My thoughts are constantly of her. She makes my heart sing. She fills my thoughts and my mind. I feel so complete with her. All my loneliness disappears and my heart is filled with deep warmth that only she gives to me. So why do I love her? Because she has become my everything and because she’s got under my skin and deep within my heart. And that’s why I love her so…

After reading the recommendation from many website on Code Geass and the new installation of Code Geass R2, I went to check out the anime series "Code Geass - Lelouch of the Rebellion" and "Code Geass - Lelouch of the Rebellion R2" and totally fall in love, addicted with the series. Definitely one of the better anime series I have watched for sometime. The story behind Code Geass and the character development of the protagonist and supporting characters are superb. I highly recommend this series for those who like epic stories. This Faustian tale has very strong elements of tyranny, power struggle and loyalty embedded in the characters of the story. I love the Zero Requiem at the end, totally orgasmic and shocking. Lelouch, the main character which you will love and hate him at same time, as he embark on the journey to make the world a better place to stay!!!
The premise behind the anime series Code Geass - Lelouch of the Rebellion (Kōdo Giasu Hangyaku no Rurūshu) is based on two central characters, Lelouch Lamperouge and Suzaku Kururugi. The story revolves around an alternate world like Earth, where America did not manage to become independent and remains under the rule of Britain (which the creators call it Britannia). In the story, the Holy Empire of Britannia invaded Japan with their robotic weapons, the Knightmare Frames (similar to the mecha in Macross/Gundam or any anime series to do with humans piloting robots). The defeat of Japan had led to the country being controlled and renamed as Area 11. The Japanese people are renamed "Elevens" and forced to survive in ghettos, while Britannians live in first-class settlements. Rebel elements persist, however, as pockets of Japanese organizations struggle against the Empire for the independence of Japan.
Lelouch, the protagonist of the story encounters a mysterious girl, C.C. (like a deal with the devil) who gives him the power of the Geass. With it, he finally has the power that he needs to defeat Britannia and fulfill his two wishes: to seek revenge for his mother and to construct a world in which his beloved sister can live happily. In the story, he was an elite studying in the Ashford Academy with the children of the other fellow Britannia citizens. With his power, he started the order of the Black Knights to revolt against Britannia, under the disguise of an identity called Zero. As his character develops in the story, he paid the price for his success to revolt against Britannia, losing people who he loved in the process. In some sense, his story is reminiscent of the many revolutions in France, Britain and China. The fragmentation of the elites led to a revolution. In the end, the group who succeeded to create the next government, are the elites who manage to gain the power of the masses. The only person who stayed by him till the end (and we do not know her intentions) is the mysterious C.C.
On the other hand, Suzaku (the other protagonist) represents the other side, with the premise that he is the best friend of Lelouch. He is a Japanese who agrees with Zero on the latter's assertion that the Britannia Empire is corrupt and not worth serving, but wants to nevertheless change and improve the Empire from within, to show that his father's death was not in vain. This is because, Suzaku claims, achieving results by wrong or illegal methods is meaningless. In a twist of fate, Suzaku becomes the pilot of Lancelot during the Shinjuku ghetto debacle, due to the fact that it is 'experimental,' so Knights (Knightmare Frame pilots) were not an option. As the story develops, he became a knight despite his background. The irony is both their nationalities and their motivations are reversed in the conflict.
The story appeals in a few fashions. There is the inevitable destiny of a showdown after many events have happened along the way. Each event that transpires is leading towards that inevitable confrontation between both forces: Lelouch and Suzaku. Although there are still two episodes away from the end, everyone is dying to find out what happens to the two protagonists in the story eventually.
Since its premiere, this anime has collected numerous awards and accolades. Code Geass has won the best TV anime series award at the sixth annual Tokyo Anime Awards held at the 2007 Tokyo International Anime Fair.
Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion (Kōdo Giasu: Hangyaku no Rurūshu) is an anime television series created by Sunrise. Directed by Gorō Taniguchi and written by Ichirō Ōkouchi, both of whom had earlier worked on the series Planetes, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion features original character designs by Clamp.
The first season of the series premiered across Japan on MBS from October 5, 2006,[1] and concluded its run on July 28, 2007, after running for 25 episodes. A second season and sequel to the series, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2, premiered on MBS and TBS on April 6, 2008.
Both seasons of Code Geass have been licensed for release in the United States and Canada by Bandai Entertainment, and the first season began airing on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim programming block in the U.S. on April 27, 2008. In Australia and New Zealand, the series is licensed by Madman Entertainment.
Plot
On August 10, 2010, a.t.b. (the Imperial calendar), the Holy Empire of Britannia overpowered Japanese forces and conquered the country with their new robotic weapons, the Knightmare Frames, in less than a month. In the aftermath of Britannia's invasion, Japan lost its freedom, its rights, and even its name, becoming Area 11 of the Britannian Empire. The Japanese people, renamed as "Elevens", are forced to survive in poor neighborhoods, while Britannians live in first-class settlements. Rebel elements persist, however, as pockets of Japanese organizations struggle against the Empire for the independence of Japan.
After his father, the Emperor of Britannia, failed to prevent the assassination of his mother, an attack which also left his sister blind and crippled, the young prince Lelouch vowed to destroy Britannia. Seven years later, he accidentally becomes mixed up with "terrorists" in Area 11 and encounters a mysterious girl named C.C., who gives him the power of Geass. With it, he finally has the power that he needs to defeat Britannia and fulfill his two wishes: to seek revenge for his mother and to construct a world in which his beloved sister can live happily.
Settings
Code Geass is set in an alternate universe where the Holy Empire of Britannia, an international superpower, has conquered more than a third of the planet. The world is, for the most part, divided between it and two other superpowers: the Chinese Federation and the Euro Universe. Australia has remained independent of the other powers though it is not significantly mentioned in the story. The three powers maintain a tentative balance for the first part of the series. The balance shifts in the second season. The E.U. has much of its territory conquered by Britannia while Lelouch engineers a revolution in the Chinese Federation and creates a new alliance of countries, the United Federation of Nations, reducing the number of superpowers to two.

Yes, as you’ve seen, Jessica Gilsig (Meredith) is back in the next episode, and it turns out she knows a thing or two about combat. (Perhaps Claire would feel less violated if she knew that was her only her uncle engaging in a little friendly brain-picking? Yeah, probably not.)
Ali Larter Will Be Called “The Ice Queen.” She will be bitchy, she will be lethal and she will be promptly hopping in the sack with Nathan Petrelli for some decidedly un-chilly action.
It Won’t Be All Roses and Sunshine for Peter and Sylar: “We do have a couple of scuffles,” Milo teases of what’s ahead for his character and his new bro. Angela Petrelli Has to be Evil. When asked if Angela’s good or bad, Cristine offers this glimpse of what’s ahead: “As of this volume, none of that applies. It’s all up in the air. Nothing is as it seems. You will totally surprised by everything, on every level. It’s all about good and evil and all of us walking that strange line between good and evil and who is going to going to fall into the good category?and who is going to fall into the bad, and really stay there. It’s a balancing act through the entire Volume, and it’s so good.”
And oh yeah, and…
More Petrellis Will Be Revealed. Guesses? No, not Hiro or Ando…
